The World of Kidtropolis

The World of Kidtropolis is a Sponsor of Leading Moms 2018.

The World of Kidtropolis is an interactive city model designed to provide a safe, unique and realistic educational environment that lets kids do what they do best: pretend play! Our goal is to provide purposeful play and hands-on learning experiences in a family-focused environment. Children use their imagination to become firefighters, police officers, restaurant owners, teachers, stage performers and more. The World of Kidtropolis is the perfect environment for parents and caregivers to bond with their children by participating together in pretend play. It’s a great playground to interact with your little ones and watch their imagination take flight!

“Pretend Play” is a powerful learning tool for all children. Children are encouraged to use their imagination, play at their own pace and have fun! But The World of Kidtropolis is about more than just fun, children start to build many foundational life skills such as social skills, respect, self-confidence, team work, emotional management and problem-solving.

At The World of Kidtropolis, children’s safety and well-being is our No.1 priority. We have entry and exit gates to prevent children from running out of our facility. However, supervision of the children remains the sole responsibility of the caregivers. We follow similar safety protocols as any large family entertainment facility (Science World, Playland, Vancouver Aquarium). Our staff is committed to creating a welcoming, engaging and interactive environment for your children. Please let us know if you have any special needs and we will do our best to address them.

Rochelle Elise Photography

Rochelle Elise Photography is the Official Photographer for Leading Moms 2018.

Rochelle Elise Pianalto has a natural light in-home studio located in the Cambie Village area, Vancouver, BC, Canada. She photographs on location in many indoor and outdoor settings around the lower mainland and Fraser Valley – specializing in maternity, newborn, baby, child, and family portrait photography. In 2012, Rochelle began full-time work as a child and family photographer. Prior to this, she worked part-time as a photographer, while running a performing Arts School, producing many children and teen musicals. She has found many similarities between the art of theatre production and photography. And yes, you will hear her freely singing away to your young children during your session.

Rochelle has her degree in Psychology and spent many years working with adults and children with special needs. She specialized in child speech development issues and therapy for young children with autism. She is a mother (to a 16 yr old boy), and Auntie to 6 gorgeous nieces and nephews; all of these miraculous children have been her daily inspiration and led her to a wonderful career.

A Note From Rochelle:

I am here to serve you and help you tell your family story. I hope to create memories not only of how you all look, but of the love and connection you share for each other. I will work with you to create something that is uniquely and beautifully YOU. There are many times I have thought after doing a shoot: “I wish I had photos like this with my mom, or grandmother or sister”. It is from this place that you inspire me.

skoah

skoah is a Sponsor of Leading Moms 2018.

Personal training for your skin is “what skoah does” and represents skoah’s comprehensive approach to skin care. The aim of personal training for your skin is to provide customers with an effective, easy-to-understand skin care program that generates lasting results. 100% Canadian, all skoah products are made and produced in Vancouver, beautiful British Columbia.

simply powerful skin care

When it comes to skin care there is the constant debate of natural products versus science-based products. skoah®’s skin care products are more nature than science, but take the best from both. They are more natural than a lot of ‘natural’ product lines, devoid of low quality substitutes and loaded with top quality ingredients. The base oil in skoah creams is polysilane, a highly refined olive oil, rather than the frequently used petroleum by-products. skoah products also contain botanical extracts, natural minerals, bio-actives, organic compounds and powerful active ingredients – letting nature help to protect and nourish your skin.

Eaton Arrowsmith

Eaton Arrowmith is a Sponsor of Leading Moms 2018.

At Eaton Arrowsmith we teach our students a series of exercises to help them strengthen their brains and address the cognitive weaknesses that cause their specific learning difficulties.

All of our schools operate on the principle of neuroplasticity – the brain’s ability to be strengthened over time with targeted training. This sets us apart from other learning intervention programs. Traditionally, a student who struggled with handwriting, for example, would learn to use a keyboard or be given more time to write tests.

We don’t teach students to work around their difficulties; we help them address them.

Over a 35-year history, Arrowsmith graduates have returned to public and private schools with an increased ability to learn. Our students go on to complete university degrees, find employment in their chosen fields, and pursue their dreams.
